| Program Focus |

The Regional Program on "Skills in TVET for Sustainability" serves as a response to the need of TVET institutions to stay relevant and innovative, while meeting the current as well as anticipating the needs and demands of the global workforce. Various concepts and methods will be tackled and discussed, including the relevance of image building, importance of quality enhancement and assurance, and application of information and communication technology (ICT), while taking into consideration the different capacities and levels of development of the member countries.

To further enhance the outcomes and objectives, the Regional Program will be held back-to-back with the 3-day 6th International Skills Forum: Innovative Practices in Skills Development, organized by the Asian Development Bank (ADB).

| Objectives |

At the end of the program, the participants will be able to:

  • Integrate sustainability into TVET programs
  • Recognize the importance and relevance of Image Building in TVET’s sustainability
  • Determine ways and strategies on how to incorporate ICT innovations to enhance TVET capacity

The main contents of the program are:

  • Theme papers and presentations from distinguished key speakers and resource persons
  • Concurrent workshops and experience sharing
  • Group presentations by delegates
  • Site visits in different institutions of excellence
